In the middle of an endless desert, Han Sen was holding a map and comparing it.
The map Brother Seven had left behind was very detailed, and there were ways to navigate the desert. So far, Han Sen had not run into any trouble.
But because Little Silver had yet to return, Han Sen had to bring Bao'er to Phoenix Desert alone to try his luck.
Aside from saving Brother Seven, Han Sen was also interested in obtaining Phoenix Emperor's geno treasure.
Holy-Sword Emperor had come alone, and even if he had brought a few royal spirits and sacred-blood creatures with him, as long as there were no super creatures, they could not threaten Han Sen's life.
In comparison, Han Sen was more in awe of Phoenix Mountain. After all, it was an emperor's shelter, and no one knew what might lie within.
Han Sen held a sun umbrella and walked through the scorching desert. Bao'er was resting her head on Han Sen's shoulder, panting with her tongue out. She did not like the hot weather, either.
Suddenly, Han Sen saw the bodies of many scorpions in the desert. They were yellow, the color of sand, and they were each the size of a small car.
But now, the bodies of the giant scorpions had been slashed by a sword. There had to be at least three hundred scorpions that had been killed.
Han Sen brought out the map and compared them to the sandstone scorpions on the map. They were the same type of creature.
"So many sacred-blood creatures were killed in one hit. It looks like Holy-Sword Emperor has already gone there."
Han Sen looked at the wounds of the sandstone scorpions and deduced that they had been dead for no more than a day.
Although they were sacred-blood creatures, Han Sen did not want to eat them. According to Brother Seven's map, the flesh of the sandstone scorpions was inedible.
It wasn't just the Sandstone Scorpions. The creatures of Phoenix Desert were strange, as well. It was hard to find a creature that could be eaten, and the chance of obtaining a beast soul was very low.
Of course, this was also Seventh Brother's own reasoning. Because no other human had come to Phoenix Desert before, he could only rely on his own hunting probability.
According to Seventh Brother, he had killed at least a thousand creatures in Phoenix Desert, but he had only obtained one beast soul.
Han Sen leaped over the corpses of the sandstone scorpions and continued forward. These corpses proved that Han Sen had not taken the wrong path.
After following the map for another three or four days, Han Sen moved forward in a roundabout way. The route marked by Seventh Brother was very strange. It was not a straight line, but more like a circle.
In the beginning, Han Sen was very skeptical about whether he could really find Phoenix God Mountain like this.
After seeing the corpses of the sandstone scorpions, Han Sen's doubts were mostly dispelled.
Finally, Han Sen saw a giant mountain appear in front of him. It was so tall that it pierced the clouds.
The mountain appeared very suddenly. Han Sen had been walking for a long time, but he had never seen it. All he saw was a desert.
But when he got there, he saw the mountain. It was like it had appeared out of thin air. Han Sen could only look up at the mountain, but he could not see the top.
The mountain was so big, it was hard to imagine. Looking at it from side to side, Han Sen could not see the end of it.
All the rocks on the mountain had a metallic luster, like brass. However, one could see many green plants growing on the mountain. It was indescribably strange.
According to Seventh Brother, when Phoenix Shelter sealed itself, it became Phoenix God Mountain. The mountain was just a seal, and the real shelter was inside it.
But even the emperor-class spirits would not dare to do anything on the mountain. If they did, they'd have to find the entrance. That was the only way they could safely enter the Phoenix Shelter.
Han Sen used his Dongxuan Aura to scan the area, but he could not detect the presence of the King Spirit or any humans. He had no idea where they had entered the mountain.
Seventh Brother's map ended there. Because he had never entered the Phoenix Shelter himself, he had no idea what it was like inside. So, he didn't leave behind any more information.
Han Sen had no choice but to climb Phoenix God Mountain first. He carefully looked around, hoping to find where Brother Seven had entered the mountain.
The mountain was very big, and Han Sen didn't dare to fly around. He walked slowly, looking around as he went.
The mountain was not steep, but it was very long. Han Sen walked for half a day, but he was still at the foot of the mountain. He had no idea how big it was.
There were no creatures on the mountain, and there were only ordinary plants. They were not geno plants, either.
Han Sen knew he couldn't keep walking like this. If he walked around the mountain, he didn't know how long it would take.
"Let's go to the top of the mountain and take a look. Maybe we can find something there." Han Sen decided to go around the mountain and climb to the top.
Han Sen did not want to go too far, so he carefully climbed. It took him an entire day to reach the top.
But when he reached the top, he realized it was just a side peak. There were many higher peaks, and he didn't know how far he was from the real peak.
Han Sen continued to climb, but after one peak, another peak appeared. It was like there was no end to the mountain. There was always a higher peak, and it was getting steeper and steeper.
Han Sen turned around and looked down the mountain. Even the clouds looked very small now.
"Does this mountain lead to the Sky Palace?" Han Sen thought to himself. But he knew there was no such thing as a Sky Palace in the sanctuary.
Just as Han Sen was about to continue climbing, Bao'er suddenly jumped down from Han Sen's arms. She ran towards the side of the mountain, and her eyes shone with a strange light.
"Bao'er, where are you going?" Han Sen quickly chased after her.
Bao 'er seemed to have been attracted by something, though. She nibbled on her pacifier and did not speak. Her chubby little hands moved very quickly, and she disappeared from Han Sen's sight after crossing a mountain.
Han Sen followed Bao'er around a corner, and he saw Bao'er climbing up a tree.
The tree wasn't very big, and it looked like an ordinary pine tree. Bao'er climbed up quickly, and after she reached the top, she jumped and disappeared from Han Sen's sight.
"Bao'er?" Han Sen thought it was strange, and he called out to Bao'er.
There was only a pine tree near the side of the mountain, and there was nothing else there. How could Bao'er suddenly disappear?
"Dad, come here! There's treasure!" Bao'er's voice came from the pine tree, but Han Sen still couldn't see where she was. He walked over curiously.
